Shoshone, California

We stayed at Shoshone Village RV Park for a visit to Death Valley National Park. We were fortunate to get there in time to visit the park the day before it closed. Shoshone Village, population 35, is a way stop along Route 127 about a fifty miles from anywhere. Although it was a long drive to the national park, we enjoyed our stay at this quaint desert town with its own oasis fed by hot springs. In addition to the RV park, the town boasts an inn, restaurant, gas station, general store and a museum with a gift shop.
